Help with inclusion of UPNP Nuvo Players.

After about a day of playing around, I haven't had any success. I'd really like to get these 8 speakers into my LMS system. While there must be something unique about how Nuvo setup their UPNP, the devices consistently show up in DeviceSpy, WireShark, other debugging tools. It looks like they have their AVTransport/RenderingControls one layer down, simliar to how my Sonos appears in DeviceSpy. They all appear as NuVo Zone + MAC and I can also use HomeAssistant's DLNA integration to interface with them….but I'd prefer to capture them in LMS for my purposes.

Upnpbridge-log (I attempted with debugging=all, extra command line = -d all-sdebug) There is never any mention of these 8 Nuvo devices. I have no problem with Sonos or others appearing….just Nuvo.

Any advice on how I might be able to tweak any part of your plugin to successfully pull these guys into my configuration? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer…you are an amazing asset to us digital home nerds.

So if -d all=sdebug does not give you anything, only explanation is a network issue where they are not on the same network as your LMS server (not talking about where you launch DeviceSpy) and if this is still not the issue, short of having one of these, I can't tell

Right, there is no sign of them in LMS logs. There is nothing special with my network...everything lumped together. I bought these before Legrand bought out a smaller company and proceeded to run it into the ground. I'm disappointed that I wont be able to use them but I understand you can't troubleshoot a device you don't own! Thanks for taking a look.

You can always send one to me if you want to (I'll return it 😄)

😊 Appreciate the offer. Most of them are mounted inside a server chassis...let me see if I have a single one stored away and get back to you.

oh, something else that I should have asked before: do you have any other UPnP device that appear?

Yep, in both your plugin and DeviceSpy. There is something unique about these nuvo players.
