Bold weight is blurry

Bold weight looks blurry (Windows/ttf):


Would it be possible to modify (I think) hinting process to avoid that? Regular weight is one of the few perfectly crisp looking fonts on my system and bold looks really bad in contrast. Not installing bold is an option, but in some cases auto-generated weights are no longer monospaced and/or are even less (or equally) blurry as the original.
