its quite odd, redirects dont seem to want to work.

I half think there is an issue with doing redirects on "previews" and that they need to land in main to actually work.

I've tried a few different combinations with this .gitbook.yaml

making the yaml keys

redirects:
  path:
    to: file.md

or

redirects:
  path/to: file.md

with no success.

I've also targeted a file that did not work. you can see the failed github actions for that one.

interestingly gitbooks now complains about not being able to parse gitbook.yaml 🤦 ... (of course the main branch is untouched)

anyways, my next step here would be to pick a page we dont really care about and try to set-up a redirect there and merge that to main to see if this ends up ironing itself out or not.
