npm adduser failing with Internal Server Error #466

Running npm adduser {sinopia-server} fails with:

npm ERR! code E500
npm ERR! Internal Server Error

Looking at the logs, it seems like the error happens here:

Error: Internal Server Error
at fetch.defaults.then.then.result (/usr/local/lib/node_modules/npm/node_modules/npm-profile/index.js:203:19)

Looking at the logs for sinopia, it appears the error has to do with a missing module:

Error: Cannot find module './build/Release/crypt3
