Thanks to OpenStreetMap contributors, has been possible to build a crowdsourced map of damaged towns and villages in the Apennine mountains, after the devastating series of earthquakes that hit central Italy betwen August and November 2016.
People in the worst-affected areas of Umbria, Marche, Lazio and Abruzzo are now facing what is likely to be a long and difficult struggle to rebuild homes and historic buildings, without lose their cultural heritage.
Grazie al contributo della comunità di OpenStreetMap, è stato possibile costruire una mappa crowdsourced delle città e dei paesi appenninici, danneggiati dopo la devastante serie di terremoti che hanno colpito l'Italia centrale tra agosto e novembre 2016.
Le popolazioni nelle aree più colpite di Umbria, Marche, Lazio e Abruzzo sono ora di fronte a quella che sarà probabilmente una sfida lunga e difficile per ricostruire le case e gli edifici storici, senza che il loro patrimonio culturale vada perduto.
