folder.jpg image symlinks

As I understand, Gonic serves either folder.jpgor folder.png as coverart for an album. Is it possible to use symlinks for those files? I have done a small test, and apparently Gonic does not recognize them.

hey I did a quick test too and seems to work for me. at least when it's symlinking to an image in the same folder. do your symlinks go up directories in level?
