Introduction

My name is Saurabh Chatterjee and I am a software engineer from India.

• I have worked for Amazon as a developer for 10 years primarily specializing in building highly available, highly scalable, low-cost applications built for Amazon retail and AWS.
• I have primarily focused all my career on complex design for multitenant systems which are built secure, horizontally scalable, fault-tolerant, cost-effective, and critical systems with a keen interest in building low operational overhead systems with monitoring and automation built from the ground up.
• I have also focused to reuse stable infrastructure, code, CICD, and processes as much as possible to avoid reinventing the wheel and solving problems already solved by another developer
• I have been a passionate mentor and love to bring up the spark in other developers to build a strong career in software engineering.

Climate Change

After working in the industry for a while, I want to channel my energies into solving problems that impact the majority of the people and I think working for climate change is the most significant problem I can think of for this decade. I have decided to work for open-source software which makes this world more livable for the future by focusing efforts on climate change.
