What should these backup strategies cover? And where do we want to / can we backup to?

We discussed at the BL about creating a cookbook of scripts and things that assist people running Taarifa instances. In much the same way that we've internally documented on GDocs how the post-hook commit scripts work but making it overt for others to see, possibly contribute.

@kynan didn't you resolve this already with a git-posthook commit and backup of the database?
