Welcome to the Djangorifa Wiki. Let's get started!

#Getting Started

The Djangorifa is an open source web application for information collection, visualization and interactive mapping. It allows people to collect and share their own stories using various mediums such as SMS, Web Forms, Email or Twitter, placing these reports into a workflow. These reports can be followed up and acted upon, engaging citizens and communities.

Djangorifa is a platform of the Taarifa project. Taarifa aims to be an open source project that builds software and provides knowledge in building the next generation of infrastructure of nations. To do this we need your help!

#Installing

We can run as many systems that Django works on. Linux, MacOS and Windows are some of the different systems that we've instructions. If we've not got your flavour documented Contribute and get in touch!.

#Using Taarifa

Have a look at the Djangorifa-instructions play around with the [Developer Sandbox] or install your own instance.

We're open. So are the docs. You can see the current stage of the software in the Issues on Github. These are attached to milestones. You can see the Design, Requirements and Problems on their respective pages.
