Roadmap

Roadmap/ideas for development, in no particular order:

• 3D viewer - change color of machined paths. Work in progress, problematic with large files and sync with executing motion.

• User selectable colors for rendering.

• Probing - add tab for rotation probing, with gcode transform.

• DRO - add machine position. Added as flyout.

• Settings: Grbl tab - add hierarchical grouping of settings.

• Switch to XML or JSON format for settings specification?

• UI - allow third party dlls to dynamically create tabs in main window.

• UI - create UI composer. Build your own UI from available components.

• UI - save current size and position and restore on startup.

• UI - add localization. Partly implemented.

• Startup - allow specification of network address/protocol to connect to/with in dialog.

• Camera - improve layout, add to central tab hosted in Grbl tab?

• GCode parser - add scripting with variables and expressions.

• GCode editor.

• Allow show/hide of toolpaths for different tools, plus add option for coloring them differently?
