Wishlist: pause meter #1

Hmm, interesting idea. I definitely understand; I do the same thing. This would probably be pretty easy to implement, but also cheat with—what happens when they have two Chrome windows in view, but with a non-blocked site actually selected? There may be a way to implement a check, though. I'll look into it, thanks! (Though at the same time, isn't reading a link from HN [or whatever] still being unproductive on HN? 😄) |
True enough. But as far as cheating goes, you can also also right click the icon and click 'disable' :) Just something to consider that would have at least one grateful user. Thanks again for the extension. |
Right now once you "buy" 1/3/5/N minutes from your balance, the timer counts down and doesn't stop until it's all been used up.
I'd like to see a feature where if you change tabs to a non-blocklist website, the timer pauses. It resumes once you change back or go to another blocked website.
Otherwise, once you buy some minutes, you feel compelled -- or at least I do -- to hit all your blocklist websites and reading a non-blocklist website feels like you're "wasting" your minutes.
Just a thought. Really enjoying the extension.
