what client uploadsd the video? was this in an e2e room? |
It is in an e2e room. Happens from any and all clients. I have personally tested on riot-android and riot-web. |
Any ideas? I've dug through the riot code and the matrix-react-sdk code and I can't see what causes the 25MB cutoff for videos. |

MP4 files greater than ~15MB are uploaded as m.file rather than m.video, and so cannot be played back with the embedded player in clients. 15MB seems prohibitively small. It may not affect other users, but it would be great to be able to configure the cutoff point for m.file vs m.video.
