Detect end of window resize to resize flexslider

Hi,

I wrote a post on stackoverflow but perhaps someone has the solution here.

Using underscore's debounce I can detect the end of window resize but calling flexslider.resize() within that doesn't seem to work, it keeps being called for each pixel the browser is resized
