I am working and testing with xcp-ng.
I have detected a bug with the pools within xcp-ng center and consequently, within the xcp-ng 20.04.01 version.
What I did was create a pool with 2 servers, which were assigned IPs 192.168.200 and 192.168.1.210 (192.168.1.0/32). All perfect. But I decided to reassign the IPs to type C 192.168.1.0/16, assigning the IPs 192.168.1.10 and 192.168.1.20. I added the servers back to xcp-ng center and it worked correctly for the first one (I guess because it is the pool master). But the second server, it was impossible to reconnect. When I tried to add the second server to xcp-ng center with its new IP 192.168.1.20, it told me that it belonged to the old pool 192.168.1.200, (do you want to add it?), but that pool no longer existed as such and did not work.
I went to the terminal of this computer to try to delete the pool to which it belonged, I managed to do it, but the network interface had the IP assigned but it did not detect it (it was very strange). I decided to reinstall the system on this second computer.
My advice for someone who wants to modify the IP of the machines within a group (or pool) is to first delete the pool, then assign the new IP, and create the pool again.
I hope this helps.
