Zed fails to open on Mac (apple silicon, MacOS sonoma 14.5)

Describe the bug / provide steps to reproduce it

I install the app. I click to open it, and it appears in the dock as if it was running, but no window opens.

IIRC, I tried experimenting with Zed around a year ago and had the same issue. So, could be related to some global config thing that doesn't get cleared when I delete and reinstall the app? (If so, how do I clear that?)

Thanks, this fixed it. Can close this issue if we want, but maybe this fix should be added to the docs somewhere, or somehow automated so that it doesn't have to be figured out manually.

I'm going to close this issue since it seems to be a one-off. Something strange must've happened to your database and killing it fixed it. If you hit it again, please open another issue, as maybe its something that can still occur in the latest Zed.
