Fix all test failures from TCF #2606
Comments
by Mark Linkmeyer: Hi Dmitriy Korovkin , this issue that you've created is vague. Please be more specific with your request. If you're reporting a bug in the kernel, please file it as a bug and not a story. If you're suggesting new work be done with the kernel, then a story is fine, but again, please be more specific. |
by Inaky Perez-Gonzalez: Which testcases do you want me to run? |
by Dmitriy Korovkin: Inaky, I ran the projectss from the list that you have sent me. Now we are working on those that do not build and fail to run. No need to rerun them until we have them fixed. |
by Mark Linkmeyer: Hi Dmitriy Korovkin , do you have an estimate on a date by which you believe these issues you've raised can be fixed? |
by Sharron LIU: testability review, to my understanding, the story expect all "zephyr/tests/kernel/" passed running at hardware with TCF, with unified kernel. |
by Mark Linkmeyer: Per email that Mark received on 10/26/16 from Dmitriy: "We are still in the process of failure analysis. As soon as we have them analaysed, we have the estimation when they all get fixed." |
by Mark Linkmeyer: Dmitriy Korovkin , any update on this? Any idea by when these will be fixed yet? |
by Dmitriy Korovkin: There is one sub-task left and it's not assigned to me. But as far as I have heard, the patch is now in the review. |
by Mark Linkmeyer: Dmitriy Korovkin , all sub-tasks are now done. Does this mean all the failure analysis you mentioned above is done and all of the test failures from TCF have been fixed? |
by Mark Linkmeyer: Because of the recent change to use the new Jira workflow, this story got mistakenly Closed when it should have been put into the Merged state. I'm moving it to the Merged state now. |
Reported by Benjamin Walsh:
As a user of the unified kernel, I want the damn thing to run all test cases.
