I would like to file this as an enchancement request. The automation can be made a million times easier to work with if we take on something like Logic Pro X has to offer.

With automation they allow for dots to be placed at various locations which function like pins. It is then easy to drag the next pin down to adjust the level. Currently you end up coloring the whole automation window and its very hard to get the automation done accuratly

Did you mean that lmms should allow user to drag automation dots?

Correct. Right now its is not like that and I find Automation very hard to get
acurate levels when working with automation.

A Shift+drag for increased precision like in Ardour and ZynAddSubFX would
be a great thing.

Also rightclick in Piano Roll for drawing volume/pan ramp like in Seq24
would be much appreciated too.

@tobydox Why did you reference this issue from the commit? It seems that the commit is irrelevant to this issue.

I am working on it. Expect a patch in a few hours.

May it be possible to draw small circles instead of points, so it's easier to see and to grab the dots?

@lukas-w Good idea. Working on it.

I agree small circles would be easier to grab
