    This enhancement describes the implementation of a new capability to enable or disable the default ingress of the OpenShift cluster. The new capability (from here on called the ingress capability) inhibits installation of the cluster ingress operator and its custom resources. This enhancement focuses on the requirements for RFE-3395 which targets the ROSA clusters spawned and managed by HyperShift. The implementation of the ingress capability on the standalone OpenShift is out of the scope of this enhancement.

  • 1436: (4/260) dns: NE-1325: External DNS Operator support for Shared VPCs (gcs278)

    Add the externaldns-operator-aws-assume-role enhancement to add support for sharing a hosted zone between two AWS accounts using assume role.

    Update the aws-cross-account-dns-zone.md enhancement to include references to externaldns-operator-aws-assume-role as well as clean up some invalid references and add alternative on ExternalID.

    There are some significant limitations to the existing configure-ovs.sh design in OVNKubernetes. This enhancement is an alternative method of configuring the br-ex bridge needed by OVNK using NMState that will address most, if not all, of the problems with the existing implementation.

  • 1585: (2/43) network: SDN-4433: Configurable network diagnostics pod placement (kyrtapz) (SDN-4433)

    The network diagnostics feature performs connectivity health checks to services, endpoints, and load balancers. As part of that, the Cluster Network Operator (CNO) creates the network-check-source Deployment and the network-check-target DaemonSet. This enhancement allows cluster administrators to configure the pod placement for both network-check-source and network-check-target.

  • 1601: (22/137) microshift: OCPEDGE-919: MicroShift: Replacing upstream TopoLVM with a minified version of LVMS (jakobmoellerdev) (OCPEDGE-919)

    This enhancement describes the proposed strategy to move from repackaged upstream TopoLVM to a minified version of LVMS in MicroShift starting with 4.17.
