GNU testsuite comparison:

GNU test failed: tests/tail-2/inotify-dir-recreate. tests/tail-2/inotify-dir-recreate is passing on 'main'. Maybe you have to rebase?

Thanks! Let's increase the scope of this PR a bit and expand this idea to the other flags too, in which case we can maybe use Command::args_override_self.
